WhatsApp is the most popular messaging platform today. Since it was released in 2010, it has grown so much that it has become an essential platform for every android and ios user. I have been posting many WhatsApp tricks on our blog. Today, I will be sharing with you a trick on How to unblock yourself on WhatsApp if someone has blocked you.
How to Know if you are Blocked by Someone on WhatsApp :
To unblock yourself from someone, you need to know if you are really blocked. Sometimes people get confused with deactivated accounts as blocked by someone. Check the below steps to confirm if you are really blocked by someone on WhatsApp.
- You will not be able to view the person’s profile picture, status, last seen and online status.
- When you send a message to the person, a single tick will be shown and the message will never get delivered.
Now the trick begins to find how you can unblock yourself from someone on WhatsApp. There are various methods to unblock on WhatsApp. Choose the method which works for you.
First Method to Unblock Yourself on WhatsApp :
The first and the very simple method is to directly contact by calling the person who blocked you and convince him/her to unblock. You can also send a message on other messengers like normal SMS, facebook messenger, hike, etc if the person is available on these platforms. If you are still not able to convince the person or send a message on other platforms then follow the next methods.
Second Method to Unblock Yourself on WhatsApp :
Next method to unblock someone on WhatsApp is to delete your account. But you should proceed only if you have back up of your chats. Check our post on How to Backup WhatsApp Chats. You can restore your chats after installing the app again. Note that once you delete your account, you will be removed from any groups that you were added to. WhatsApp regularly updates its app for more security and other features, so I am not sure till which version this trick will work.
You can delete your WhatsApp account by going to WhatsApp Settings -> Account -> Delete Account.
Enter phone number and country to delete your account. Uninstall WhatsApp and install again from PlayStore. Now send a message to the person who has blocked you.
Third Method to Unblock Yourself on WhatsApp :
This method requires a third person who is a mutual friend of you and the person who blocked you. Now ask your mutual friend to create a WhatsApp group and add you and the person who blocked you. Now you can send any message in the group and the person who blocked you will be able to read your message. If your messages are private, then you can ask your mutual friend to leave/exit the group after creating the group.
Even if you follow the above methods, there are chances that the person might again block you on WhatsApp. Respect the privacy of the person and stop troubling 😉 him/her. But by following the above methods you have at least a single chance to convince the person to not block you again.
