This is an immediate post after I experienced a problem last night. I have installed Tuneup Utilities yesterday, and applied crack. But it didn’t work. I replaced some of the files by mistake. The Uninstaller of that program was deleted and due to this I was unable to uninstall the program.
I deleted the complete folder where the program was installed. But this was my biggest mistake. Now when I was trying to do a clean install, it said “there is a newer version of program installed on your computer. please uninstall it and re install it again”. But there was no option to uninstall the previous version because all files were deleted. I was very upset with this problem as I need Tuneup utilities on my computer. The problem was there were still some registry entries stored on my computer which was causing problems in re-installing the software.
After searching the solution of this problem for one hour, I came up with a very nice solution which really worked.
In any case when you face problems in uninstalling any program/software, you can use this method.
Microsoft provides a tool called Microsoft Fix It, which is very helpful in this situations.
What it Does :
Automatically repair program installation issues because of corrupted registry keys or blocked installation.

Click on Run Now on the page. A new dialog box opens to download Microsoft Fix It. Download it. Install It and Run the program…
It will ask you to choose the program which is causing uninstall issues. Select it and click next.
Now the fix it will fix the errors and you can install or uninstall the program without any problem…
