Last year Facebook silently rolled out a feature where you can post status update with a colourful background. Now you might see the similar feature on your whatsapp. Whatsapp is testing this feature on its beta version. I personally do not like the status feature in whatsapp (Facebook’s is good). Even most of my friends say they don’t care what people’s whatsapp status is (which however disappears after 24 hours). Let me know in comments if you like the whatsapp status feature. The new coloured text status feature was spotted by a developed who was running latest 2.17.291 version. If you are still not able to see this feature, then it will soon roll out to you.
